Activating Your Cheek Muscles
This video is a quick tutorial on how to activate your cheek muscles.
It's important that you learn how to do this correctly to get the best benefits and results.
- Your cheek muscles are attached to a group of muscles that encircles the mouth.
- FaceSculpter works by placing resistance between your closed lips, activating your cheek muscles, and pushing down on the sides and corners of your upper lip.
- Your cheek muscles are forced to work harder to close, gaining strength and creating facial volume in the process.
- FaceSculpter exercises will be more effective if you can visualize where the muscles are on your face.
- Isolate, activate, and focus all your energy on the exercises to get the best results.
Instructional Video For Use
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
- Place the FaceSculpter device between your teeth and lips vertically, as shown. Your teeth should rest gently in the curved grooves on the top and bottom.
- Your lips should pucker outward (think fish lips), as you firmly grasp and wrap them around the device.
- The pressure should come from the sides of the upper lip where the cheek muscles connect with the muscles surrounding your lips. As the upper side lips press down on the device, ‘smile’ with your cheeks, lifting them as high as you can. This is a stretching and elongating motion.
- Now, start pulsing your lips down while simultaneously pulsing your cheeks up. Remember, you are using your lips to open and close the device, not your teeth. The exercise is a ‘micro movement’ and so the device does not open and close more than a 1/4 of an inch or so during your exercises. This technique becomes second nature with practice and time, just as with any exercise.
- Repeat this motion on a daily basis for up to 1 minute in the morning and 1 minute in the evening.
